I hope you are well! I’m exhausted but happy because I just spent the last ten days caring for my elderly father after he fractured his hip. Because I’m so far away, I planned to come in for an extended stay and help out.
Caregiving is a tough job but one that is rewarding. Seeing my dad regain his strength and start thriving again was simply amazing. He’s not out of the woods yet, but he’s better.
Now, I can breathe again and refocus on my new release. I’ve been working on this book for years, and finally, it is coming to fruition. I’m so thankful!
This nonfiction children’s picture book biography is based on the life of Vernon Dahmer. Mr. Dahmer was a civil rights activist who fought for voting rights and equality in the 1950s and 60s. His story is one of bravery and determination.
I’m so excited to be almost finished with my largest self-published project yet. This will be my third completed authorpreneur publishing project. As I’ve said before, my creative life has been a game changer in semi-retirement. My endeavors have given me a creative focus that has allowed me to write and create projects that, for years, I could only dream about.
What are you dreaming of creating? Go ahead and do it! The new goals will enhance your life and bring you joy. What could be better than that?
Well, I will sign off for now! I’m working on finishing my book and planning a December launch party.
