Hello Friends,
I am so excited! I have finally published my first book. It’s called Do You Need Help with Writing? A Short and Easy Guide: If Writing is Not Your “Thing” with a Journal and Workbook. This book is my 25 years of teaching experience put into a book to help the novice or reluctant writers. I understand that writing is difficult for some writers, so I wanted to continue to help novice writers. It’s so wonderful to help, but also, I’m living my dream of becoming a published writer.
I have to tell you how I came up with this book. Last summer, I was watching YouTube, and a young YouTuber named Shay Budgets was encouraging her viewers to use their experience and write a book. I took her advice to heart, and I started putting pen to paper. Also, I prayed, and I asked God to unblock my creativity. I felt stuck and uninspired. Well, God came through for me, and I started writing. It was so amazing because the words came so easily. Because I was teaching full-time, it took me an entire year to complete the process from planning to publishing, so to see my book in print is so amazing!
Do you have a dream or a passion? I want to tell you that it’s not too late! Just start! It is so rewarding to have accomplished this goal. You can have your dream. Don’t give up! Many people think that just because they are older that they cannot continue to dream. Look at me! You can have your dream. Moving toward your dreams will enhance your life so much. I want you to know that it doesn’t have to be writing, but it could be curating a new hobby or traveling to a new place. Remember, learning new things enhances your brain health! I’m all about working on that brain health! Until next time!
